Dent Inc President – Stephen Dent

Prior to establishing and helping to drive Dent Inc from start up company in 1986 to major private investment banking firm today, Stephen Dent worked for several successful years in the finance, mergers, and acquisitions field for major organizations like PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Company. He also enjoyed time with private equity investment firm Rosenkranz and Company. As a licensed CPA, Stephen Dent graduated from Harvard University with a BA and MBA. He combines all of this experience and expertise in his role as company president of Dent Inc.

Stephen graduated from Harvard University with both a BA and an MBA and during this time he also enjoyed a successful three years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Following graduation he left PriceWaterhouseCoopers and moved on to the mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Company; another successful appointment that was a sure indication of the success he would enjoy throughout his career. His next appointment was with private equity firm Rosenkranz and Company where he undoubtedly got a taste for private investment, subsequently founding Dent Inc in 1986.

As founder and company president of Dent Inc, Stephen Dent has helped to take the company from a fledgling start up to an increasingly successful and profitable interest. He now oversees all investments that the company is responsible for including the overall investment strategy of the firm and the individual investments that make up the company’s portfolio. This may seem a massive undertaking but it is one that Stephen Dent enjoys and excels at.
